Samurai Tanto in polish for sale SW-427 for $2,800

Tanto #1) This is one of our must popluar and praised swords --- it is very attractive and reasonably priced. It looks to me to be a Shinto or ShinShinto Tanto from about 1780, possibly Kiyomaro school (yes it really is that pretty) and in full polish, no flaws anywhere.
Double grooves both sides. Excellent jigane, itame grain. The blade itself is strong, wide, powerful, heavy. If this is what you like and are looking for--- this is it. One of the most powerful Tanto I have ever had in stock.

Samurai Swords for Sale #3 $2,000

#3) An early signed and partially dated ("hachi gatsu yoi hi") as the very earliest signed and dated Koto pieces sometimes are .. Kunimune signature but I don't think that this is the Uda group but another school. Typical early formation of the Kanji characters, look at the "Saku" character and you will see perfect Nambokucho or early Muromachi color (rust) and writing. Quiet medium Suguha and Ishime grain. I will give this a great polish for you and gold Habaki and wonderful Shirazaya for $1600 more.

Katana #4) Shinto Yoshimichi Katana: Interested in Sudareba? Have one? Most collectors do not have a single good example in their collection. Well, this is an Ubu, signed, Jo Saku example with a Kiku and an Ichi on the tang ... and in a nice Kinko Koshirae. Founder of the Sanpin school and should become a Juyo-to. POR

Wakizashi #5) Kinko mounted famed Meisho signed all matching gold and shakud wakizashi: Omori Eishu (Mei Saku) signed in gold, mounted fully matching Kinko Koshirae Wakizashi. The Wakisashi should easily go Juyo Koshirae as one similar previously has done so ... although this one is better. Blade is good too, rated Jo Saku and signed and Ubu. POR

Daimyo Kago Yari #6) Rare, nearly unique, top rated maker on a "Kago Yari" used only by Daimyo ... Signed and dated Jo Jo Saku, Kago Yari for Daimyo sighting use inside a Kago, this yari with long Ubu tang (designed this way so pole cannot be cut, by Koyama Munetsugu the famous Jo Jo Saku, ShinShinto smith ... these are extremely rare and desireable. I have only seen 2 in 34 years ...
